Position Description: Network Runners is seeking aInformation Technology Technician to support the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), 720th Special Tactics Group (720th STG), and Special Tactics Training Squadron (STTS). The Information Technology Technician provides client‑level IT support for the Special Tactics Training Squadron, managing audiovisual and IT hardware and software and operating classified and unclassified multimedia and video teleconferencing (VTC) systems. Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform client‑level information technology support functions for the squadron.
Manage audiovisual and IT hardware and software; operate classified and unclassified multimedia, VTC software and hardware, and presentation systems in auditoriums, classrooms and conference rooms.
Position, install and connect equipment such as microphones, amplifiers and lighting; configure, manage and troubleshoot computers, voice network equipment and personal wireless communication systems (PWCS).
Plan, organize and direct sustainment activities for audiovisual and IT systems to ensure they remain functional and up to date.
Perform digital photography as required for training and documentation.
Required/Desired Skills and Experience:
Possess a current Security+ certification.
Experience providing client‑level IT support, including configuring, managing and troubleshooting Windows‑based systems, network devices and audiovisual equipment.
Knowledge of audiovisual systems and VTC hardware and software; ability to install and operate microphones, amplifiers, lights and related equipment.
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability to lift 30 pounds and work in an administrative setting.
