Paramedic

Clearance: **Must have an Active SECRET Clearance**

Position Description:
Network Runners is seeking a Paramedic to support the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), 720th Special Tactics Group (720th STG), Special Tactics Training Squadron (STTS). The Paramedic shall provide support/treatment in a field/prehospital/clinical setting, ambulance emergency response, and transfer and transport services for active-duty military personnel, their dependents, retirees, and other eligible beneficiaries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create, maintain, and dispose of medical documentation in accordance with regulations.
  • Provide a full range of field/pre‑hospital support and ambulance/improvised ambulance services onsite at the OCSU and in the field, following guidelines established by the OCSU Flight Chief/NCOIC and Medical Director.
  • Deliver advanced life support and emergency care for all types of patients, recognizing medical emergencies and responding appropriately.
  • Provide advanced cardiac life support (ACLS/ALS) coverage for Hurlburt Field and the Eglin Range; drive ambulances in all conditions and obtain a Recreational Off‑Highway Vehicle Association (ROHVA) license as necessary.
  • Perform medical and non‑medical patient transfers based on patient needs and physician orders; interact with on‑scene commanders during exercises and real‑world incidents.
  • Provide medical coverage during dive and jump operations on land and water‑based platforms.
  • Participate in government‑provided training, equipment familiarization and continuing education programs.
  • Care for and maintain ambulance and life‑support equipment; restock consumable supplies and ensure equipment readiness before the end of each shift.
  • Complete patient reports and forms documenting patient condition and care; testify in legal proceedings and provide depositions if required
  • Assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation classes, EMT refresher courses and ALS/PALS training (if qualified).
  • Maintain cleanliness of work and rest areas and perform basic housekeeping duties.
Required/Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) Paramedic certification course.
  • Current, valid NREMT Paramedic certification that remains active throughout contract performance.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS).
  • At least two (2) years of experience as a paramedic.
  • Knowledge of local hospitals and pre‑hospital protocols to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
  • Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate/drive an ambulance in all conditions.
  • Ability to perform paramedic duties on boats and willingness to obtain a ROHVA license.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills and ability to work in high‑stress environments.
