Internal Communications Specialist

Position Description:
Network Runners is seeking an Internal Communications Specialist to support AFRL/RA leadership messaging, workforce engagement, recurring activity reporting, and communication analytics.

Posting Quantity: 1 full-time position

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop, edit, coordinate, and disseminate directorate-wide messaging and internal communication products.
  • Prepare Weekly Activity Reports, Monthly Activity Reports, scripts, talking points, articles, and announcements.
  • Manage communication calendars, stakeholder reviews, approval workflows, and distribution channels.
  • Support event promotion, digital signage content, SharePoint communications, and leader-engagement media.
  • Track communication reach, engagement, and verified views and prepare monthly performance reports.
Minimum Education / Experience / Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain at least a Secret security clearance recorded in DISS; certain assignments require higher-level access.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, and Air Force-approved web applications.
  • Must communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and maintain professional working relationships.
