Business Development Executive - OASIS IDIQ

As a value-added solutions provider and a small business systems integrator, we support our OEM’s through effective lead generation, market intelligence, and sales pipeline generation. NRI was recently awarded the OASIS SB Pool 1 IDIQ and we are looking for an energetic self-starter to excel in developing business through this vehicle. This position plays a critical role in developing, identifying, and qualifying leads to help drive the company’s growth. The ideal candidate will closely work with an existing team of subcontractors that was part of our solicitation team, as well as identify new subcontractors to team with to win task orders.

On Target Earnings
OTE is a combination of base salary, sales commission and bonus based on meeting MBO’s

Job Description
  • Generate sales leads to uncover new business opportunities for service opportunities
  • Document information for all sales activities, opportunities, and customer/client interaction in company CRM
  • Establish ongoing business relationships with prospects, customers and technology clients
  • Research the needs of potential customers and learn who makes decisions about purchasing
  • Recommend contracting options to government procurement officers for ease of procurement
  • Identify upcoming IDIQs/Agency BPAs and task orders; and establish respective capture strategy to strengthen p-win ratio
  • Land and expand new customer territories in both public sector and commercial markets
  • Identify use cases and define solution needs
  • Manage extensive relationships with industry partners and large systems integrators to support business objectives
  • Define and track performance against established goals and align tactical activities for strategic execution
  • Attend conferences and industry events
 Job Complexity
  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience of Government contracting
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions
  • Adept at evaluating competitive landscape and recommending acquisition strategy for long term pursuits
 Position Requirements
  • 5+ years supporting Federal sales and business development
  • Experience selling technology products or services
  • Proficient in understanding FAR
 Highly Desirable Attributes
  • Strong capacity to develop relationships quickly over the phone
  • Previous experience with sales pipeline development and in an environment requiring monthly quotas
  • Strong communication and IT fluency
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Goal oriented and self-motivated, and a team player
