Position Description:
 
Network Runners is seeking a highly motivated Senior Instructors to support the Advanced Analysis/Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Curriculum Development and Management effort within the 313 Training Squadron as a classroom instructor and curriculum developer. Additionally, plan, coordinate, design, and validate instruction for general intelligence training specialties, as well as develop, write, review, and revise instructional materials.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Develop subject matter content in their assigned course(s). Subject matter content will be determined at annual Training Planning Team (TPT) or equivalent meetings and documented using course control documents provided by the course training manager.
  • Earn appropriate intelligence community adjunct instructor certifications for their assigned courses if applicable.
  • Instruct assigned analysis courses as agreed upon by the 313 TRS and the contract PM.
  • Develop new (and maintain existing) course curriculum and materials in order to meet the intent of the course control documents. The final approval authority for developed or modified instructional materials is the Training Development Element Chief (TDEC).
  • Required to work with the 313 TRS TDEC to ensure course delivery mechanisms and instruction techniques are up-to-date and are the best fit to train each individual subject in the course.
  • Required to Continuously assess the relevancy of assigned courseware to the Air Force intelligence enterprise. 
Minimum Education Level:
 
Master’s degree or higher from an accredited educational institution in one or more of the following areas of study: foreign area studies, intelligence studies, political science, military studies, or education.
 
Minimum Years of Experience: 10 Years work experience in operational or strategic intelligence analysis and evaluation.
 
Desired Experience:
  • At least ten years in an Intelligence Community analytical environment;
  • Strong written and oral communications skill.
  • Must possess a valid US passport.
  • AETC Basic Instructor Course.
  • A USD(I)-recognized certification (e.g. CDASA-1, GPC (level 2), CCMP-F, or equivalent from https://dodcertpmo.defense.gov/ or other IC-recognized program).
  • All-source experience and/or experience in an analytical training environment; Intelligence Community Standards (specifically ICD 203)
  • Application of structured analytic techniques (SATs); analytical writing/briefing and analytical product creation; joint military exercises; experience working in an AOR, IC agency, or other intelligence operations center.
