Position Description:
Network Runners, Inc. is seeking (1) Private Capital Project Specialist to support the AFWERX Program Management Office (PMO) in its mission to maximize participation in Department of the Air Force (DAF) acquisitions and facilitate the transfer and transition of innovative technologies to the warfighter and commercial sector
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Capacity to thrive in a culture where self-motivation is necessary, and communication is paramount. Ability to juggle numerous tasks and competing priorities
- Interface between the DOD, entrepreneurs, start-up firms, and commercial technology companies to create, improve, and support programs designed to increase private investment in AFWERX funded companies by private capital investors.
- Understand the expectations of supervisors/stakeholders/teammates and develop strong working relationships to achieve shared goals. Build strong relationships with both external candidates and internal business partners. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Operational and network mapping to understanding and design program activities
- Assists on contracting activities and documents in support of the directors and program/project managers
- Drafting, creating and editing presentations, reports, summaries and minutes of meetings, white papers.
- Private Capital Program Managers (PM) should possess strong project management skills and experience, and experience with conducting quantitative analysis in support of strategy development and operational performance.
- Possess Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Certifications
- Experience supporting innovative programs within the Department of Defense (DoD).
