Training Support Specialist
Clearance: **Must have an active Secret Clearance. **
Position Description:
Network Runners is a highly motivated Training Support person to support the 492nd Special Operations Wing (492 SOW) as the 492nd continues to meet Headquarters (HQ) Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) taskings. This position is located at Duke Field, FL.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support for personnel and manpower programs and responsibilities.
• Adhere to personnel policies and procedures relating to administrative communications, correspondence, messages, and general office management.
• Implement the policies, directives, programs, and Personnel Data Systems (PDS) capabilities and applications.
• Report discrepancies and recommend corrective action to A1 Director.
• Maintain suspense system for Employment and Training (E&T) actions and correspondence.
• Provide customers with recommendations on how to use web-based applications for E&T actions.
• Analyze Air Force policy and provide recommendations to A1 Staff and Director.
• Update and maintain personnel data in MILPDS,
• Analyze data mismatches and provide A1 Staff and Director with accurate data points to make force management decisions.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Air Force (AF), AFSOC, and Special Operations Forces (SOF) organizational structures, functions, procedures, command relationships, and responsibilities.
• Must be able to demonstrate the requisite experience required above.
• Must be able to demonstrate 5 years’ experience in AF Manpower support.
